The IEG International English Program is custom-made to fast track the enhancement of proficiency in the English Language by relying on time-proven learning tools. Our well-equipped learning centre focuses on an individualised approach, such as that each candidate’s needs are catered for proactively.

Consequently, students enjoy the class-based activities because they can personally observe progressive improvements in their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

COURSE OFFERED

• This program provides an academic preparation program for students who wish to focus on accuracy in English or who need to improve their English skills before entering University, College or Technical School. You will develop academic reading, writing, and advanced grammar skills as well as listening and speaking skills useful in an academic setting.

• The purpose of this program is to help you to develop high to intermediate-advanced oral fluency and accuracy, allowing you to apply your knowledge of English to meet your future personal, professional and academic goals.

Level 1 (14 Week)

• Beginners level for students with zero level English proficiency

• This is an integrated task-based approach course where students are taught the basic listening, speaking, reading and writting skills

• Concentrates on introducing basic vocabulary and grammar items

• Students are taught to form grammatical structures and to write simple dictation passages

Level 2 (14 Week)

• This level focus on listening, reading, speaking and writing skills

• The scope here is to equip leaners with skills and knowledge of English languange to enable them to comprehend (read and speak) in and out of the classroom

• These skills are taught in an integrated manner

• New vocabulary and grammar items are progressively introduce

• Upon completion of this level, student would be ready to enroll for pre-university of foundation program

• Students would also ready to take up academic test preparation program such as TOEFL and IETLS

Level 2 (14 Week)

• This level utilised a multi-layered syllabus, which include comprehensive grammar and vocabulary and incorporate systematic work on listening, speaking, reading and writing.

• It adopts an integrated approach to pronunciation and include regular recycling and revision

• Students are encourage to play an active roles in learning and listening to the language in a greater variety of situation

• It guides students in the language acquisition process, step by step through new language tasks by providing all the support , control guidance, security and opportunity to to communicate successfully

• Upon completion of this level , students would be confident to embark on a iniversity degree or post-graduate programme and be competent wo work in an English speaking environment.
