MSc Cyber Security and Data Governance (Online)

The Master of Science Cyber Security and Data Governance – Online can be studied full time over a 12 month period or part time over a 21 month period providing flexibility around your commitments.

This postgraduate degree specialises in the fascinating and fast-evolving world of digital information. Data is the most powerful currency of the modern digital world, and ensuring it’s managed and protected is vital for every organisation across the globe. With this course you can enhance your knowledge and skillset in areas of data management and cyber security to advance your career in this fast-paced and exciting field.

We also offer the Online Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) Cyber Security and Data Governance and the Postgraduate Certifi-cate (PG Cert) Cyber Security and Data Governance for those who are looking to complete a postgraduate qualification over a shorter time-frame. On a full-time basis, the PG Dip can be undertaken in two terms (6 months) while the full time PG Cert can be completed in one term (3 months). Alternatively, on a part-time basis, the PG Dip can be undertaken over four terms (12 months) and the PG Cert over two terms (6 months).

COURSE DETAILS

This course focuses on a combination of technology, business and policy to give you a well-rounded insight into the vital ways in which information is collected, stored, communicated and protected. It’s an ideal choice if you have an interest in devel-oping an in-depth specialist knowledge and a critical under-standing of the key aspects of cyber security and data gover-nance.

Through our full range of innovative online study resources, you will be able to create your own timetable and fit your studies around your personal and professional commitments. This course will equip you with the skills to manage and analyse an organisation’s data assets and security measures, and provide an understanding of data governance principles, practices and technologies.

As an online student you will have access to a range of profes-sionally produced tuition videos to support each module, featuring detailed animations to help you absorb complex concepts. You can explore case studies taken from the real business world to help strengthen your learning, while access-ing downloadable reading materials, so you can revise on-the-go.
