ACADEMIC PATHWAY

ATHE LEVEL 4 : DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING

The ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Computing is a 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualification. It provides the core knowledge, understanding and skills to support learners planning to further their studies in computing. It is equivalent in size and level to the first year of a degree program in computing.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Entry to the qualification will be through a centre interview, and learners will be expected to hold the following:

• Age: 16 +;

• 5 or more GCSEs at grades 4 to 9 (C and above);

• other related level 2 subjects;

• other equivalent international qualifications.
